About the iMentor Partnership

After two successful years of partnership, iMentor and Bronx Prep continue to support these ambitious, college-bound students. Once again, iMentor has matched all Bronx Prep 11th and 12th grade students, making 64 great matches that will last until each one of these students graduates from high school. Each mentor-mentee pair will work together to achieve the school’s mission and each individual student’s goal: gaining acceptance to the college of their choice.

iMentor is proud to have had mentors work with Bronx Prep’s first graduating class, and we are once again committed to helping Bronx Prep fulfill its ambitious goal of having 100% of its students graduate and enroll in college. Mentors for Bronx Prep have been recruited and selected to participate in a special college preparation email curriculum that will complement the school’s rigorous academic program. These mentors are dedicated to assisting the students with their questions and concerns about the college process and to sharing their own experiences of the exciting (and sometimes stressful) transition from high school.

The iMentor program at Bronx Preparatory Charter School is supported by a generous grant from the Robin Hood Foundation, an innovative and influential philanthropic foundation targeting poverty in New York City.
