About the iMentor Partnership

In our sixth year of partnership, iMentor has expanded its reach at the Brooklyn Children’s Museum and will be working with the 10th, 11th, and 12th grade Peer Mentors under the direction of Miriam Heinonen, Museum Team Educator. This after-school program offers a unique opportunity to high school students: after successfully completing a competitive application and interview process, the 11th and 12th graders are selected to serve as Peer Mentors on the Museum Team as paid interns. As Peer Mentors, these students participate in extracurricular educational and cultural activities and serve as role models for the younger BCM participants. All BCM mentees will focus on college and career exploration throughout the year.

iMentor is excited to be working with BCM for another great year!
