2006-07 Partner Site Profile International High School at Prospect Heights Number of Pairs: 17 Length of Matches: 1 year matches iMentor Partner Since: 2006 Location: Prospect Heights, Brooklyn See Pictures from 06-07 Events HERE! iMentor Program Coordinator: Karim Davis International HS Teacher: Dariana Castro About the iMentor Partnership International High School at Prospect Heights is a new partner site for the 2006 - 07 school year. iMentor will be working with the 11th Grade Leadership class under the direction of Dariana Castro, the coordinator of Special Programs. Mentor-mentee pairs will be matched for one program year, with the option of continuing through the Alumni Pairs program. The Leadership class is made up of students who come from a wide range of countries, including Poland, Tibet, Senegal, and Honduras. This diverse demographic makes for a wide variety of perspectives and experiences. The class is an elective and utilizes small group instruction to step outside of traditional textbook lessons and focuses on project based learning to develop the students’ leadership, communication and social skills. iMentor looks forward to a great year with International High School.
