About the iMentor Partnership

Westinghouse HS has been an iMentor Partner Site since 2003. After several successful years working with the Leadership class, iMentor and Principal Widlund collaborated to expand the reach  of mentoring throughout the school. We are proud now to serve 80 students in three academic courses in the 10th-12th grades:

  • A+ Programming a computer programming course, one of several that all students at this tech-oriented school need to complete for graduation.
  • Cisco Systems an advanced course where juniors learn about how technology affects the world and its various applications.
  • Multimedia (2 sections) Ninth graders apply to participate in this class as sophomores.  They learn about different forms of media, and study the basics of website design, graphics and animation.

iMentor is thrilled to be partnering with Westinghouse for a fifth year in this new capacity!
