Marsh & McLennan Companies corporate social responsibility team (CSR) is pleased to announce a strategic nonprofit partnership with iMentor.  Marsh & McLennan Companies recognizes that our role as a good corporate citizen includes responsibility to help strengthen communities at risk, particularly those in which we operate.  Furthermore, a main focus area of Marsh & McLennan Companies’ CSR efforts is employee engagement and volunteer programs that emphasize issues such as education and community development.  iMentor will help facilitate this effort by enabling our employees to help improve the future of local youths, thus contributing to larger societal needs.    

A commitment and enthusiastic attitude towards philanthropic efforts is evident at Marsh & McLennan Companies, although employees are not required to volunteer.  iMentor provides an exciting opportunity for employees, as mentors, to empower a young person to succeed in scholastic and personal environments.  This partnership with iMentor is a short term strategy to strengthen Marsh & McLennan’s CSR processes and will therefore contribute to our long term goal as an active corporate citizen in our communities.
