Abandoned and tagged, the connotation involved with most things in the Harlem community. The building formerly P.S. 90 has been abandoned for approximately over 20 years and counting. The rundown and empty school symbolizes, to many, the entire Harlem community in which there is a lack of prosperity. To many the desolate, austere, unwelcoming building is the epitome of the neighborhood. However, these people will soon witness that the opposite is true as Harlem begins to flourish through renovation and development.
