Vania Weiner

Vania is originally from Peru, where she attended law school and worked for a human rights organization. She is currently studying sociology at Brooklyn College-CUNY. Vania has completed an internship at Bushwick Impact, where she worked on family literacy programs that support children, parents, and caregivers and assisted with referrals and support for parents seeking educational opportunities or assistance for themselves and their children. Through her work at Bushwick Impact, she became highly interested on programs that assist underserved communities with better educational prospects, and is happy to join in iMentor’s efforts.
