Unique Fraser

Unique Fraser has a strong background in urban youth education that developed through work in after school and summer programs with high school students. Before joining the iMentor team, Unique created literacy enrichment curricula for an after school college counseling program to promote academic success. She is a firm believer that with a strong foundation in multiple literacies and learning styles, young people can achieve excellence in and outside of the classroom. Unique earned her B.A. in Latin American Studies from Barnard College in 2000 and completed her M.A. in Latin American and African Diaspora History from Rutgers University in 2006. She is also a proud, native Brooklyn-ite.
