Rossd'Lyn Palacio
Rossd’Lyn is a native New Yorker currently residing in the Bronx. After graduating college with a B. S. in Exercise Science, she interned for Harlem RBI, where as a softball coach, teaching assistant and camp counselor for NYC youth, facilitated a safe learning environment and taught the values of positive competition. Rossd’Lynthen worked as a family service specialist at the Young Adult Institute (YAI) / National Institute for People with Disabilities (NIPD) where she advocated for individuals with mental retardation and developmental disabilities. As the Site Director for Edison Learning, at a school in the south Bronx, Rossd’Lyn also implemented the academic and operational components of an after school tutoring program. Next Rossd’Lyn became an inaugural member of the NYC Civic Corps, where she developed sustainable volunteer and emergency food programs for Mid-Bronx Council Services. After successfully completing her year of service with NYC Civic Corps / AmeriCorps VISTA, she now proudly joins the iMentor team and brings her passion for youth development and empowerment with her!
