Robert Yoo
Robert comes to iMentor with nine years of non-profit development experience with a specific focus in foundation relations and strategic communications. Prior to joining the iMentor team, Robert worked at BELL (Building Educated Leaders for Life) as a development officer and played an integral role in developing key philanthropic partnerships and communications strategies that enabled the organization to scale its operations to serve more than 5,000 students in five new regions. Most recently, Robert has been serving as a development consultant for Zimele, a non-profit organization based in South Africa that empowers women living in abject poverty to develop the skills and support networks they need to start their own businesses, support their families, and strengthen their communities. Robert graduated from the University of Vermont with a B.A. in English and political science, and from Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary with a M.A. in theology. In his spare time, Robert is an avid musician, snowboarder, and golfer-- and, of course, being born and raised in Jersey, is a die-hard fan of the New York Giants.
