Kristine Arquero
Kristine joins the iMentor team with experience in both education and youth development. Originally from California, Kristine graduated with honors from the University of California, Berkeley, with a B.S. in chemistry and recently earned an M.S. in science education from CUNY Lehman. She spent the past three years teaching chemistry and coaching volleyball at Mott Hall Bronx High School in the South Bronx. In college Kristine was a student instructor to non-chemistry majors, facilitating discussions and running lab experiments. Kristine found her passion for empowering youth while working as the director of the Youth Mentor Program for the YWCA of Berkeley/Oakland. While in college, Kristine encountered mentors that positively affected her life and truly believes in the transformative power of mentorship. Kristine is excited to share her enthusiasm for mentoring with New York City students.
