Kaitlin Sweetman
Kaitlin comes to the iMentor Program Team with a background in youth development, teaching, and coaching. Kaitlin began her higher education at Binghamton University where she graduated summa cum laude with B.A.s in both Anthropology and History. She recently completed her M.A. at New York University in the media, culture, and communication program. At NYU Kaitlin worked for the Metropolitan Center for Urban Outreach as an early literacy tutor in the South Bronx while also serving as a teaching assistant for an undergraduate course in the MCC department. Recently, Kaitlin has worked at Manhattan Youth’s Downtown Community Center as a swim team coach and pool deck supervisor. Kaitlin brings years of experience working with students of all ages in many different capacities and is excited to begin facilitating strong positive relationships between the youth of New York City and the volunteers who are dedicated to helping them achieve success.
