Elise Ogden

Elise Ogden recently graduated from Bates College in 2009 with a degree in Rhetoric and Spanish. While attending college in Lewiston, Maine Elise worked with youth mentoring and adult language learner programs, both of which fostered her growing interest in the nonprofit sector. After graduation, Elise pursued this interest all the way to Minnesota where she began working for Project Success; a youth development organization in the Minneapolis and St Paul public school system that helps students learn how to take practical steps towards making their dreams become a reality.  With Project SUCCESS, Elise was responsible for organizing and executing free theater events for students and their families. In addition she aided in the production of full scale musical productions at area middle schools and planned college tours for high school students. Her work with Project SUCCESS has cemented Elise’s passion for youth development.  She comes to iMentor excited to learn and eager for the opportunity to work in such a diverse public school system.
