Benjamin Ramos

Benjamin Ramos joins iMentor with seven years of experience as the Assistant Director of Project UJIMA, a theater based youth prevention & education group.  After graduating from the University of Rhode Island with a B.A in Sociology and Communications Studies, Benjamin served as a GEAR UP High School College Advisor with the College Crusade of Rhode Island, working in two inner city high schools in Providence, Rhode Island.  He then went on to join the Amachi Mentoring Coalition Project at Rhode Islanders Sponsoring Education, as their Case Manager/Match Specialist.  It was in this position that Benjamin realized the impact that mentoring could have on youth.  He comes to iMentor eager to continue his work in helping youth to achieve their true potential.
