National Mentoring Month: iMentor CEO Mike O'Brien

iMentor CEO, Mike O'Brien, was interviewed by PIX 11 Morning News about iMentor's 100 Mentor Pledge. The pledge was announced by Mayor Mike Bloomberg in his State of the City address, and was highlighted as part of the mayor's education plan to improve college and career-readiness for the city's high school students.

iMentor will match the companies’ employees with students from its partner schools in one-on-one mentoring relationships that will last up to four years. Mentors will help students develop key competencies linked to college success, navigate the college application and financial aid processes, and build career awareness.
