Partner Schools
For the 2010-2011 school year iMentor partnered with 14 New York City public high schools to support 1,700 mentee-mentor pairs. Mentees and mentors participating in iMentor’s programs agree to exchange at least one email per week and meet in-person at least once per month. Each partner school that iMentor works with agrees to support the program by providing teacher/staff support, making space in the class schedule to accommodate the “iMentor Session” and ensuring students have access to computer labs so they can read and compose emails.
For the 2011-2012 school year iMentor expects to work with over 2,400 mentee-mentor pairs.
