Partner Schools

2009-10 Program Year

iMentor partners with New York City schools and after-school programs in order to assure that all mentees have regular access to email and the Internet. Each partner school provides a volunteer teacher and one or two hours per week in a computer lab where students can read emails from their mentors and compose a reply. This weekly session (sometimes a class during the school day) is called the "iMentor Session."

During the 2009-10 program year, iMentor will match and support 1200 students from 14 partner sites throughout the city.
