Secondary School for Law
About the iMentor Partnership
This year marks the beginning of a new and exciting partnership between iMentor and the Secondary School for Law. The junior class will be the first in the school to be part of the three-year College Success Program with iMentor that will continue into the students’ first year of college. The Secondary School for Law and iMentor work toward a shared goal: to provide specialized personal, professional, and academic support that enriches the lives of students and helps them be successful in higher education and beyond.
Secondary School for Law students participate weekly in iMentor sessions during their English classes. Kim Busby, the iMentor teacher, helps the iMentor program coordinators facilitate iMentor sessions where students compose thoughtful and well-written emails to their mentors using the skills they are learning in their English classes.
This partnership was made possible by Assistant Principle Felicia Holtzman and the generous support from Paul Hastings LLP. With a shared vision and supportive administration, the partnership between iMentor and the Secondary School for Law is off to an exciting start.
