And we’re also committed to supporting individual growth and success among our staff through structured professional development, clear expectations, and honest feedback. Our staff never stops learning; by hosting brown bag conversations on diversity issues and discussing seminal research on mentoring and student success, we’re constantly thinking creatively about improving the impact of our work. What’s more, we balance our hard work with a healthy dose of playfulness: summer kickball games, costume contests, spirit days, and talent shows are just a few of the ways we come together to laugh, connect, and have fun. While we never stop working toward ambitious goals, we’re equally intentional about maintaining a work environment that has a healthy dose of celebration and humor.
