iMentor thanks you for being a mentor. Your contribution of time means so much to the young person who is receiving the benefit of your knowledge, caring and experience. If you are interested in getting even more involved, we have several suggestions.

Join iMentor's Young Executive Board

The Young Executive Board is a group of young professionals who volunteer their time to:

• increase the visibility and awareness of iMentor
• expand iMentor's network of supporters
• support iMentor's fundraising activities with special events and other initiatives
• help enrich iMentor's programming

Become a Guest Speaker

Visit your mentee's classroom or another iMentor class and speak about your educational path and employment experience.

Host an extern

Bring your mentee to work for an externship-either a morning, afternoon or full-day during which your mentee can shadow you as you do your job.

Join iMentor's Event Committee

iMentor participates in an annual fundraising event, the Urban Hero Awards, through the Catalog for Giving. You can help!

We are increasing our enrollment for the 2006-07 program year to 700 mentor-mentee pairs. iMentor needs your help to recruit quality mentors, like you! Tell your friends and co-workers about your experience as a mentor by creating a New Connections webpage here.
