- This interactive website provides two options for finding out about colleges. Use the College MatchMaker to find colleges that meet all of your needs or use the College QuickFinder to explore a school already familiar to you. Either way, you'll find the latest info on more than 3,600 colleges, plus easy access to related tools.

- This interactive database offers a range of options for researching college information. You can search by state, major, school type, as well as several more specific criteria.

- This is another website that allows you to search for college information by selecting certain criteria of interest.
Peterson's College Search
- This interactive website offers a step-by-step guide to selecting the criteria you want to use when searching for colleges, uses these criteria to generate a list of schools that meet your needs, and provides links to more information about the colleges you select.
Princeton Review's Counselor-o-Matic
- Counselor-O-Matic is an advanced search engine that combines your academic and extracurricular history with your preferences to help you find the right college. Once you've registered, you can come back anytime to tweak your answers.

College Information Fairs
Project Youth Inc.'s 2006 College Fair: "From Brooklyn to College and Beyond"
- This event will be held on Tuesday, May 2, 2006 from 3:00 - 7:00pm at Brooklyn Borough Hall, 209 Joralemon Street. It will include workshops on how to pay for college and panel discussions with current college students. Representatives from over 30 colleges will be present.
The Latino College Expo 16th Annual College Fair
- This event will be held on Saturday, April 8, 2006 from 1:00 - 4:00 pm at Hunter College, 695 Park Avenue (68th Street between Lexington Avenue & Park Avenue). It will include opportunities to meet representatives from over 150 colleges, learn about the college admission process, and enter a computer raffle. Admission is Free! CUNY's College Now Program
- Thirteen City University of New York (CUNY) college campuses offer summer programs for New York City public high school students.
