Founded in 1998 in Los Angeles, CA, Step Up Women's Network is a national non-profit membership organization whose mission is to strengthen community resources for women and girls. With offices now in Los Angeles, Chicago and New York, Step Up’s membership consists of a diverse group of professional women who invest their time and resources to support programming for underserved teenage girls, while engaging in opportunities to develop their own professional and social networks. Step Up members benefit from ongoing opportunities for dynamic social networking, professional mentorship and development, and hands-on volunteer opportunities with our teen empowerment programs.

Step Up will utilize iMentor Interactive to enhance its current Young Luminaries Program. The Young Luminaries Program pairs Step Up youth with member volunteers to participate in monthly workshops focused on college and career development. The 6-month mentoring program provides resources, instruction, and a support network of peers and adult role models to high school students who aspire to be the first in their families to attend college. Workshops cover topics such as the college application process, financing college, resume writing, and professional etiquette. The program will be managed and facilitated through iMi.
