SGA Youth & Family Services is Chicago's premier social service agency serving adolescents, young adults and their families. The organization has a long-standing commitment to providing mental health, case management and prevention services to at risk youths. Its programs are both strong and distinctive in that they combine a sound therapeutic approach with practical life skills and information that young people need to make good choices, maintain healthy relationships, perform well academically and lead healthy productive lives.

One of the many programs that SGA offers is the Kids Unlimited Mentoring Project, which serves fourth through sixth grade students in the Woodlawn neighborhood of Chicago. Traditionally, mentors and mentees meet in person once a week for one hour. Now, using iMentor Interactive, they’ll be able to communicate throughout the rest of the week as well, strengthening their relationships and offering additional support for the program’s goals: demonstrated academic improvement, reduced school absences, improved social skills, and increased positive interactions in school and the community.
