About the Partnership
iMentor Interactive will be used to expand programming at the Oakcrest Teen Center. For the 2009-2010 FY Oakcrest Teen Center will start a new mentoring program, Helping Youth Pursue Excellence (HYPE). The HYPE program will utilize iMentor Interactive as the primary means for mentor/mentee communication and will include social & service learning events for mentors & mentees to interact face to face. These include volunteer trips to the community food bank, a local soup kitchen, earth day beach clean up, and an adopt-a-road clean up. There will be at least three parent workshops for parents of students in the program throughout the school year. |
