The New Orleans Kids Partnership, an initiative housed at and led by the United Way for the Greater New Orleans Area, is a robust collective of partners (Each One Save One, the Urban League for the Greater New Orleans Area, and the Recovery School District for Orleans Parish) that believe children and youth are the most valuable assets in our community. We work with public schools, teachers, community, organizations and families to help children and youth reach their optimal potential. The New Orleans Kids Partnership (NOKP) has established itself as a voluntary collaboration among those who serve, support, engage and empower children and youth in the Greater New Orleans area. Working together, we develop, share, coordinate and leverage resources so that all children and youth reach their optimal potential.

The Partnership has joined with iMentor for three reasons:

1) Matching - All three programs currently feel that this as a very time consuming and tedious process. As such, iMi’s matching algorithm would have an immediate impact on the efficiency of their programs.

2)) Tracking - This will allow mentorship coordinators to determine if some matches need support or nudging to continue and deepen their relationship.

3) Reporting - Again, this is a tedious and sometimes inefficient process. All three programs felt this would be an incredible addition to their existing programs.
