New York Women in Communications Foundation, the philanthropic arm of New York Women in Communications, Inc., cultivates leaders in the communications field by providing financial support, opportunities for professional development and mentoring, and access to a diverse community of communications professionals. It is the largest foundation for women's communications scholarships in the New York-New Jersey-Connecticut-Pennsylvania region.

The New York Women in Communications Foundation has partnered with iMentor to help launch a new e-mentoring program.

Using iMentor Interactive, the association’s youngest members will be able to learn from veteran communications professionals about a variety of career-related topics. Sharing email over iMi’s secure platform, responding to writing prompts about career navigation and goals, and attending networking events organized by iMi’s calendar system, both mentors and mentees will find additional value in their association membership. And furthermore, these positive mentoring relationships will help prepare the association’s youngest members for future leadership in the communications industry.
