The mission of the MORE mentoring program is to empower the young people in the Toledo community. MORE helps youth to succeed in school and life by encouraging them to make good decisions and set positive goals. MORE envisions a community in which every young person experiences nurturing one-to-one relationships from caring adults outside of their immediate family.

MORE Mentoring is using iMentor Interactive to bring together college students and business professionals with elementary and middle school students in need of mentors. The mentees will email their mentors on topics such as emotional, character, and academic development, using iMi’s built-in writing prompts. And they’ll meet up each week over lunch at their schools. MORE will use iMi surveys to assess student progress on a variety of fronts, from attendance to Ohio Achievement Test scores.
