Dare to Dream Fund was created in June 2008 from the vision of providing every young person with the opportunity to discover his or her potential in school, at work, and in life through goal achievement & life preparedness programs. The organization believes that by teaching young people how to create positive results in life and achieve their goals, young people are inspired to discover their purpose and vision, stay in high school and pursue higher education.

Dare to Dream is using iMentor Interactive in order to greatly enhance its current programming by achieving the following:

- It will expand the organization’s universe of mentors by allowing busy, successful professionals from any geographic location to e-mentor Monterey County’s underserved youth; this expansion will allow Dare to Dream to tap mentors with expertise that may not be readily available locally, thereby improving the career support component of its mentoring program.

- It will allow the organization to efficiently manage its mentoring program online by providing online applications, automated match queries & mentor tracking

- Allow Dare to Dream’s young participants to goal-set and its mentors to provide accountability using the online calendaring system

- Provide partner organizations and their youth’s parents with the assurance that Dare to Dream is using a safe, secure e-mail system that is totally transparent from an Administrator’s perspective.
