Dear friends & family,

I had participated in another mentoring program in the past but decided to get involved with iMentor last year because of the program's emphasis on modeling good writing skills through online essay exchange, and because of the ease of having all of the events planned for me.

My student, Danira, and I have had so much fun decorating murals, playing board games, and just chatting and enjoying one another's company. Mentoring is SO important and it is a common misconception that it must take a huge investment of time and energy to have an impact on a young person's life. You can have an impact on a student’s life and their positivity can affect you in so many ways. iMentor proves this to be true.
