Making the Resume WORK for You: Preparing for the Job and for the College Major
Pairs from Bronx Prep, International H.S. @ Prospect Heights, and Queens Vocational & Technical H.S. met at NYU’s Kimmel Center to participate in one of iMentor’s career workshops!! Sophomores and juniors worked with their mentors to create the foundation for their resume; while seniors worked with their mentors to look over their resumes to prepare for choosing a college major. For the second half of the event, pairs engaged in a mix ‘n’ mingle networking activity called “Getting to Know You”! They had the opportunity to practice their networking skills meet other pairs from each school. A special thanks to Miguel from International H.S. @ Prospect Heights for helping to staff the event and to NYU’s Kimmel Center for providing a wonderful space for this event!
