The Executive Leadership Council is iMentor’s newest leadership group. It is an exclusive group that provides both financial and strategic assistance to grow iMentor’s programs. Members are rising leaders from a diverse range of professional fields.

Meet Our Current ELC Members

Leslie Alkalay

Columbia University
Leslie is a clinical psychologist at Columbia University’s Counseling and Psychological Services where she provides counseling/psychotherapy, consultations and crisis interventions to support the emotional well-being of the campus community. Leslie received a B.S. in human development from Cornell University and Ph.D. in clinical psychology from Fordham University. She completed a post-doctoral fellowship at Princeton University. In 2009, Leslie took a brief leave from her job to volunteer with the Athletic Scholars Advancement Program at Mission High School in San Francisco which helped to solidify her interest in education reform.
 

Keisha N. Carter

Bloomberg, L.P.
Keisha N. Carter is a licensed attorney. She has held positions at Simon & Schuster, N.Y.U., and Reed Elsevier. Keisha received a B.A. from Hampton University, a M.A. from New York University, and a J.D. from Syracuse University College of Law with a certificate of distinction in Corporate Counsel. She serves on Society Ties, the young professionals committee of the Lymphoma & Leukemia Society and the NYU-SCPS Alumni Committee. Keisha has volunteered with iMentor since 2012.

Vince Ferraro

Hoplite Capital Management
Vince Ferraro is an investment analyst at Hoplite Capital Management.  Prior to joining Hoplite in 2004, Vince was an associate at TA Associates. He began his career as a financial analyst at Lehman Brothers in the fixed income and investment banking divisions. Vince graduated from Yale University and received his MBA from the Wharton School. He serves on the Board of the Yale Lacrosse Alumni Committee.   
 

Chris Hagstrom

UBS
Chris Hagstrom is a managing director and the U.S. head of prime service sales at UBS Investment Bank, a global financial services firm. Previously, he worked in the company’s international securities lending, swaps sales, and prime brokerage sales divisions. Prior to UBS, Chris worked in equity finance at Societe Generale in both London and New York. During his tenure, Chris was responsible for a twenty person global sales team focused on developing and selling equity swap and securities lending products. He also assisted in forming the equity derivative sales desk to hedge funds. Chris is a graduate of St. Bonaventure University.
 

Edward Hartman

UBS
Edward is an executive director at UBS where he works in the firm’s prime services division. Originally from Australia, Edward previously held positions in equity research and sales at UBS’s Sydney offices. He has volunteered with iMentor since 2009, when he moved to the U.S.
 

Amy Hong

ING INVESTMENT MANAGEMENT
Amy is a vice president at ING Investment Management and responsible for the risk and compliance of the investment advisory business. She was previously a senior manager at Ernst & Young in the Financial Services Advisory business where she worked with investment advisors and private equity firm clients. She also worked for J.P. Morgan and Barclays Global Investors in San Francisco. A native of California, she spent part of her childhood in Seoul and is fluent in Korean. 
 

Matthew Jagoda

GERSON LEHRMAN GROUP
Matthew is the global head of human resources at Gerson Lehrman Group. Previously, Matt was executive director of human resources at Morgan Stanley, covering the private wealth management business. During his nine years at Morgan Stanley, Matt held several roles in support of operations, technology, infrastructure and retail securities. Prior to Morgan Stanley, he worked at AcXEL International focusing on HR/OD consulting and Simpson Thacher & Bartlett in their Benefits/HRIS department. Matt lives on Long Island with his wife, Yang, and their two children, Jake and Kala.
 

Arthuros Mangriotis

FOX POINT CAPITAL MANAGEMENT, LLC
Arthuros is a founding partner and managing director at Fox Point Capital Management, an equity hedge fund based in New York. Prior to co-founding Fox Point in June 2006, Arthuros was a managing director at Williamson McAree Investment Partners where he evaluated long/short investment ideas for the retail, consumer, transportation and healthcare services sectors. He received his M.B.A from Columbia Business School and his M.A. in classics from the University of Oxford (Trinity College). He is a trustee of the Tiger Foundation and serves on the organization’s Job Training Committee and the Investment Committee.
 

Eric Ng

Flight Club / RAKE
Eric is a co-founder of Flight Club, a sneaker store with locations in New York City and Los Angeles, and an ambassador of RAKE, a London-based clothing label offering men's bespoke and ready-to-wear with an emphasis on British tailoring and luxury fabrics. Previously, he designed and built web applications at Yahoo!

David B. Scully

COATUE MANAGEMENT, LLC
David Scully is the chief marketing officer of Coatue Management LLC, a long/short equity hedge fund manager with $7bn in assets and offices in New York City and Menlo Park.   Absolute Return magazine named Coatue as “Sector Fund of the Year” in 2007 and “Specialist Fund of the Year” in 2011. It is one of the largest hedge funds focused on stocks in the global technology, media, and telecommunications industries. Previously, David worked in sales at IBM Corp. and in institutional equities for Sanford C. Bernstein & Co., Salomon Brothers Intl Ltd (London), and JP Morgan Intl Ltd (London) where he served on the European Management Committee. He joined Coatue in 2005 after serving as COO of Passport Capital LLC and Cannell Capital LLC, two long/short equity hedge funds based in San Francisco. David holds a B.S. in Biology from Trinity College in Hartford, CT, where he worked as an Emergency Medical Technician for the Professional Ambulance Service. He is a trustee of the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute and the president of the Prouts Neck Audubon Society in Maine. He lives in New York City with his wife Lisa and their six children.
 

Josh Seegopaul

WL ROSS & CO. LLC
Josh is a Principal at WL Ross & Co., where he is responsible for managing the firm's investments in financial services and evaluating new private equity, venture capital, and real estate opportunities in the United States, Europe, and India. Previously, Josh worked in the Special Situations group at UBS and in real estate finance at Credit Suisse. He is also a founding partner of Group Guru LLC, a New York-based angel investment group focused on early-stage capital and global impact investing. He is a graduate of the Stern School of Business at New York University.
