Guests Reflect on iMentor’s 10th Anniversary Gala
iMentor’s 10th Anniversary Gala provided opportunities for guests to reflect on iMentor’s inspiring work. The excitement continued after the event. In the days after the Gala, we received several emails from guests about how much they enjoyed the experience. Here are a few of their emails:
“The gala was a great success. We enjoyed everything from the spray can digital board to the delicious dinner to all the inspirational stories to dancing on stage with Wyclef. The night was not only great to be a part of, but I believe it will inspire George to consider taking his studies further after he finishes at Lower East Side Prep.” Dan (mentor who attended with his mentee, George)
It was amazing to celebrate with Binetou (mentee) and Michelle (mentor) and to see their relationship come full circle. I met Michelle last fall when I staffed mentor training, and was excited to match her with Binetou, a student at East West School for International Studies. They have a lot in common, and it has been amazing to see their relationship evolve this year. It was so much fun to see them celebrate the end of a great year at the gala and to share such a wonderful, thoughtful event with my pair!
